Ocean County College prides itself on its number of comprehensive, professionally relevant, and structurally engaging online degree programs. With over 150 online course offerings, students can take online courses on an individual course by course basis or as part of a degree program. With their quality course offerings, students can transfer their credits to hundreds of four year institutions, should they want to continue their education beyond the Associate level.

Ocean County College offers an Associate of Applied (A.A.S.) degree in business. This program is designed to adequately train and prepare students for entry level positions in business, government organizations, and nonprofit organizations. Graduates of this program often go on to work as junior accountants, retail managers, bank tellers, loan officers, sales and marketing professionals, and small business owners.

Students applying for admission to Ocean County College’s E-learning program are required to either submit standardized test scores or take the college’s College Placement Test. Students submitting test scores will be exempt from the College Placement Test if they score within a certain range: SAT Math scores must be about 530; SAT Critical Reading scores must be above 540; HSPA Math scores must be above 250; HSPA Verbal scores must be above 235; ACT English scores must be above 23; ACT Math scores must be above 22; PSAT Critical Reading scores must be above 54; and PSAT Math scores must be above 53.

Ocean County College provides students with educational opportunities centered around educational advancement and the utilization of modern technology. All E-learning curriculum at Ocean County College uses Pearson Learning Studio. The program integrates student communication platforms, courses, career services, and campus news. This allows students to be in charge of their schedule and participation. The college also offers online resources like an online library, bookstore, and academic support counselors.
