The University of Arkansas at Little Rock

With over 400 online courses offered through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, students can study in a variety of fields. Undergraduate programs can be completed online for $260 per credit hour and master’s degree programs can be completed online for $370 per credit hour.

All courses are taught by the same faculty that teach on-campus courses. The programs demand the same amount of rigor as traditional programs, but with more flexible and convenient scheduling. Students will still have access to all traditional campus support services: academic specialists, Blackboard learning platform, technical support,, and the Ottenheimer Library.

The University is set in a midsize town and has an acceptance rate of just under 60%. The University has a 40% male to 60% female student population, and a 13:1 student to faculty ratio. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has a 27% graduation rate. 

Online degree programs run on a 17- week academic schedule, with options for accelerated 7-8 week formats.

Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission, the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith is public four- year institution of higher learning. The University offers many online degree programs in a number of fields, but also offers hybrid degree programs for students wishing to earn their Bachelor of Science in Animation Technology. This program is to be completed through coursework that is 75% online and 25% distance learning and classroom instruction. 

The University has an 18:1 student to faculty ratio and a student body made up on 44% males and 56% females. The University has a 50% acceptance rate and 26% graduation rate.

Arkansas Tech University

Established in 1909, Arkansas Tech University is located in rural Russellville, Arkansas on a 516-acre campus. The University also offers accelerated degree tracks, allowing students to earn a degree in just 18 months. The accelerated degree track allows students to complete all courses online, transfer more credits, and earn credit for prior learning experience. The accelerated degree programs are offered to students at a lower cost. 

With 12,000 students, the university has a 44% male and 57% female student population. The university has a 20:1 student to faculty ratio and a 45% graduation rate. 

All students are advised to review the University’s online policies. Students living outside the state of Arkansas need to check their state’s licensing requirements prior to enrolling in a degree program. Students residing in Kentucky, Massachusetts, and North Carolina are unable to enroll, due to licensing differences in their states.
