Brigham Young University – Idaho is an institution of higher learning in Rexburg, Idaho. As part of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the institution is centered around the Mormon faith and seeks to offer a wholesome environment that allows students to grow intellectually and spiritually. 

BYU – Idaho has over 15 online degree programs with over 200 online courses for students to take. In order to qualify for online degree programs, students must meet certain criteria. Prior to enrollment, students are required to have completed at least 15 on-campus credit hours from one of the following institutions: Brigham Young University, Brigham Young University – Idaho, Brigham Young University – Hawaii, LDS Business College, or Ricks College. Students that studied at a previous institution of higher learning are required to have received a minimum 2.5 GPA. Lewis – Clark State College is a public college on the border of Idaho and Washington. Located in Lewiston, Idaho, the college’s unique location borders the Clearwater River and Snake River, as well as Lewiston, Idaho, and Clarkston, Washington. This further exposes students to a wide range of opportunities. The college was founded in 1893, and focuses on developing curriculum that is rooted in three core areas: academic rigor, progressional and technical programs, and community programs. The college has excellent faculty and small class sizes, with a 15:1 student to teacher ratio for all academic programs and an 8:1 student to teacher ratio for all professional and technical programs. The college offers nine online degree programs, with over almost 400 online courses. Lewis – Clark State College has the lowest tuition among all four- year public institutions of higher learning in the state of Idaho.

With roughly 19,000 undergraduate students and 3,000 graduate students, 45% of students are male and 54% of students are female. Nearly 7,000 students currently take online courses through Boise State. 

The university offers online degree programs for students pursuing their bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctorate degree, or professional certification. Boise State only offers degree completion for all undergraduate degrees, meaning students with prior study are able to transfer to Boise State to finish their degree through online coursework. However, full associates and bachelor’s degree programs are not currently offered through Boise State’s eLearning program.
